A lot of our evidence comes directly from cameras, weigh scales and sensors in the plant, but not all of it. We also receive documents from our suppliers, such as invoices, dispatch notes or weighbridge tickets. Sometimes we might also take photographs of the waste when it is received, processed or dispatched.
- Before you start, ensure that you know where the document scan or photograph is on your local device
- Open the eco2Veritas portal
- Go to the Operations area
- Click the ‘Upload’ icon near the top right
- On the Upload screen, you can either drag and drop the file onto the grey panel, or you can click the Upload icon to browse your local device to find the file
- The portal will display a ‘progress spinner’ while it is uploading & checking the file
- The photo or scanned document will be displayed. If the file was a document that we have trained the system to recognise & read, then key data from the document will be shown in the left-hand panel
- Click ‘Confirm data’ to proceed, or click ‘Cancel’ to return to the previous screen, for example, if you selected the wrong file or the platform didn't read the document correctly.
