Events are grouped together into batches so that we can see everything that happened to a set of material. It also enables us to perform calculations across the batch.
Batches are created automatically when you create a new instance of the first event in a process. See below for more information.
FAQ: How do I create a new batch?
Answer: We've configured the platform to automatically create a new batch when the first event type is created. In our example for Cuautla, that means that whenever you create a new Waste Delivery event, you also create a new batch behind the scenes. We do this for two reasons:
