Once all the batches are complete & ready, you can request that the platform issues a certificate
- Open the eco2Veritas portal
- Go to the Certificates area
- Click a certificate marked as ‘preview’ (rather than an issued one)
- Click the ‘Request certificate’ button near the top right
- A confirmation will be displayed, advising you that the certificate has been requested
- FAQ: Why doesn't the certificate get issued immediately?
- Answer: The platform needs to do a lot of checking and recalculating before it issues a certificate, to make sure that the certificate is accurate. It also needs to send the certificate to the blockchain to create a permanent record. All of this can sometimes take a bit of time. Requesting a certificate allows you to carry on with other work on the platform whilst all of that happens in the background.
- When the certificate has been issued it will be shown on the Certificates screen, and the Preview certificate will show updated information, now that all of the complete & ready batches have been included on a certificate.
